The Powell Township School district is located 25 miles north of Marquette in Big Bay a very rural, isolated part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The one school in the district offers classes for combined grades K-8 and has 55 students. These art enrichment classes are vital to the youth of Big Bay allowing them exposure to a fine arts experience taught by working artists.

This event was made possible by  generous funding from a donation from Powell Township School , the Rotary Clubs of Marquette and MCACA/NEA
