Bay Cliff Health Camp

Campers creating a collaborative mural of the Bay Cliff grounds

Liberty Children’s Art Project  held a one day event at Bay Cliff Health Camp working with special needs children, staff and volunteers. We began this afternoon project by  drawing the building and grounds of the camp on large mural paper. Taking turns two groups of students aided by staff,  mixed paints and painted the scene adding their own touches as they went. The mural was an expressive artwork of the camp created by these special needs  campers. In the summer of 2019 we created the ‘I can Fly’ collaborative  project with 35 middle school campers. In the summer of 2020 we conducted  virtual art sessions with Bay Cliff Health Camp  which held its sessions all online due to COVID -19.

In the summer of 2023, LCAP worked with Bay Cliff in two different days for different age groups on a collaborate painting mural called ‘Mapping Bay Cliff’
