In the Summer of 2022 and 2023 LCAP conducted three stay over days of 2 -4 hours daily sessions of art with artist in residence Brooke Ashworth. Camp New Day U.P. is a free one-week camp for children (9-14), who have, or have had, a parent or immediate family member incarcerated. Campers enjoy a week of fun activities in a beautiful setting in Michigamme, MI that help to raise their self-esteem.
